Fortnite‘s most recent crossover event, Fortnite x Attack on Titan, has finally started, bringing tons of excellent new content based on the manga/anime to the game.

We’ve examined every skin and weapon in the Fortnite 24.20 patch notes, but there is one mystery we still need to crack.

Fortnite’s long-awaited Attack on Titan crossover is in full swing, but there are more additions to the game than skins and weaponry. One such addition is a brand-new hidden region that is based on a well-known locale from the popular anime series.

You must go to Jaeger’s Family Basement to finish one of the brand-new Eren Jaeger Quests, which has appeared on the map.

Although the game indicates it is located someplace in Anvil Square, the precise position is not indicated on the map. Since adding Naruto and his friends to the game in December 2021, Fortnite has heavily promoted anime characters.

Attack on Titan has been advertised as a component of the battle pass since the beginning of Chapter Four, season two, and it’s now here, following two prior successful anime partnerships.

Eren is now available to earn the battle pass, and Mikasa and Captain Levi are also available in the item shop. The old ODM gear that the slayers use to sneak around is also coming to the game as part of this update, so that’s only some of the Attack on Titan content that will be available.

With that equipment’s aid, players can approach anime-inspired areas, albeit some may require additional scouring of Anvil Square’s basements.

Location Of Jaeger’s Family Basement In Fortnite

Three volumes that reveal the identities of the titular Titans are kept in this basement, making it an important location in Attack on Titan.

Fortnite has recently introduced this tiny spot, and you’ll need to find it to finish one of the Battle Pass tasks. We are still determining exactly where this feature is, other than to say that it’s tucked away inside the Anvil Square POI.

When the update goes live, players should check the basements of the nearby buildings. More details about the Jaegers’ basement at Anvil will be added to this guide once we know its precise location.

Even in the early episodes of the anime, Eren Jaeger was looking for his family’s basement, even though he wasn’t always aware of it. Players will probably discover loot and the unique new AoT-themed chests scattered among scientific apparatus.

The structure in the photograph above has been ringed; the basement is located in the southeast corner of Anvil Square. You can access the building from the eastern side by descending some stairs leading to a wooden door.

You can enter the basement by opening the door. Under the house in the southeast corner of Anvil Square sits the Jaeger Family Basement. As you round the building’s outside, you will ultimately come across a flight of steps that leads to a locked door.

There isn’t much to see in Jaeger’s Family Basement, but there is a Scout Regiment Footlocker, which will have either an ODM Gear or a Thunder Spears (or both, if you’re lucky) from the new Attack on Titan weaponry.

Even if it’s difficult to find, you should be aware that many other people will be looking for it so you might face competition. As a result, we advise arriving here right at the start of a game.

This spot will probably be congested because it’s essentially in the middle of the Fortnite map, especially if you go there at the beginning of a game.

However, if you can get there first, it’s an excellent area to loot because it has a standard chest, some ground treasure, and a Scout Regiment Footlocker that will always spawn you either an ODM Gear or a Thunder Spears.
