Since 3D is the new craze for movie watching, what upcoming movies that are in 3D are you looking forward to watching? Are there any movies you would like to see get remade in 3D?

Myself, I am not really a fan of the whole 3D thing, though I am wanting to see that new Wes Craven movie "My Soul to Take". Should be interesting to see a horror movie that way. Also I read that the Star Wars movies may get redone too. I look forward to maybe being able to see them all in theaters (if released there).

I'd like to see Disney's "Black Hole" remade in 3D but I like older movies. Also Jim Henson's Labyrinth would be awesome in 3D though I'm sure there are plans some where for a remake already. *rolls eyes* No one can touch "Bowie" xD

Yea im not big on 3D movies niether @ jimmy but im actually looking foward to watching Jackass & Saw 7 in 3D!

lol I forgot about Jackass 3D. I really don't care much for the 3D aspect of it though, but that is just a bonus right there. Didn't know Saw 7 was gonna be that way.

Resident Evil Afterlife was the first film I watched in 3d and I really enjoyed it, but its not like I wanna go out and see every film that comes out in 3d now, only ones that really appeal to my prefrence, like Saw 7, also I can't wait for Saw 27: the resurrection of jigsaw

I absolutely hate the whole 3D craze. Yeah, it's kind of cool with some shows (I'd love to watch Mythbusters in 3D), but I'm not going to go pay five extra dollars to wear a pair of goofy glasses and have a few things come out at me.

Literal trailers are always fun. :)

I'm not much for the 3D craze either; not really my cup of tea. Usually not worth the extra few dollars it costs, in my opinion.

I just seen Tron Legacy in 3D in theaters last weekend and it was a pretty good movie. I was kinda bummed that the first part and last part of the movie were in 2D, but then once Sam entered The Grid, then the movie was displayed in 3D. I felt kinda ripped off a little.

Avatar was the first movie I seen in 3D [go figure] and it was amazing!

I really enjoy 3D, but to me, only some things are worth watching in 3D. Much like how some things are only good in HD. I love HD though. Greatest thing since sliced bread.

    ^Truthy^ HD is amazing^^

I have yet to see anything in 3D. At least not since it upgraded from those shitty old red blue glasses.

Its nice. I thought Avatar in 3D was going to be a joke, but after seeing it, I waled away impressed.

Like I mentioned before though, some things are worth watching in 3D though. Much like how action movies look amazing in HD, I think Sci Fi or CG Animation look great in 3D.

The biggest hassle right now is the price. I know I wont be seeing anymore 3D movies anytime soon, let alone any movie in theaters at the moment. I'm not much of a fan of going to the movies often. I usually only go if there is a movie I am particularly interested in, and almost 90% of the time I see a movie in theaters I usually end up buying it on Blu Ray or DVD.

I don't go crazy over 3D movies, but I'll be looking forward to Star Wars being released. I'll go to the theaters just for the sake of watching them on the big screen again.

The only two movies I've seen in 3d are "Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs" and "Saw 7.. or whatever the latest movie is."
Ice Age should have never been made into a 3d film. The only time you saw the movie in "3d" was when it snowed. My Mom and I took my Nephew to see it. He got a kick out of the snow.

As far as Saw 7 goes, I did not enjoy it. I'm not a fan of the Saw series. I only went because my Sister was going. I tried to talk her into seeing Jackass 3d. I will say this, I left the theater after watching Saw 7 with a slight headache. I thought to myself "I'm actually glad the new Harry Potter film will not be in 3d."

If I get a headache after not even two hours of a dull film, I wont be buying a 3d t.v. anytime soon.

Just about all 3D in movies to me simply comes off as a layer effect, and a cheap one at that. Some of them however are decent at best. I suppose it's just one of those fads, in fact they just seem like a downright cash in.

As for SAW, I myself am a fan of the series, however I didn't find 7 to be as enjoyable as the first few.
I also like pointing out flaws, such as:

I agree with you on this Mike, for myself and my friend to go and see Transformers 3 in 3D it cost us £10 each which is unbelievable and we brought our own 3D glasses (as opposed to £6 each for 2D). Although I'm not the biggest fan of 3D, got to admit, I'm looking forward to Star Wars Episode 1 in 3D when it's back in cinemas next year.

The only thing I really wanna see in 3d is boobs.

    Hehe.

I saw The Lion King in 3D last month. Good stuff. Just reminded me how much I love that movie.

I don't plan on watching any new movies in 3D anytime soon. Maybe Puss in Boots? But I might just wait for a DVD release on that.
